well..the end of the year is closing in on us, it's time to talk about MUSIC.

all year, I've been OBSESS with Fever Ray.

She recently put out a new single which is a cover of Nick Cave and Anita Lane’s 1986 song about hotel sex with strangers (at least that’s what I think it’s about) will appear on a three-disc deluxe edition of Fever Ray’s eponymous debut, out November 24 on Mute.

If 3 discs sounds a bit much for a band just starting out, consider that Fever Ray’s Karin Dreijer Andersson is still probably best known as one half of Sweden’s The Knife, which put out Pitchfork’s favorite album of 2006. She’s known for her ghoulish stage antics, and I often similate her moves as I sing along with her! It really amuses my fiance.

I really enjoy all of her videos, most would say that her choices are spooky and uncommon, but it's just very her in my opinions. Nothing like a fresh smell of great music in the making.

Hong Kong designer Winnie Lui constructed this chandelier out of toys and other everyday objects, making a unique and beautiful lighting fixture that certainly isn’t “everyday.” The assembly of objects in the chandelier produce an interesting play of shadows when it is lit.
